Samsung Launches its Bendable TV

cesSamsung has launched its 85 inches prototype bendable LED TV at the “Consumer Electronic Show” (CES 2014)in Las Vegas. The key feature of this TV is Curved Screen which enhances the viewing experience, claim Samsung. The technology allows the owners to measure, how much TV screen bent is required depending on:  no. of people watching them and how far the viewer is sitting. The curvature of its screen to be adjusted by remote control and can be left FLAT when not in use. Though, the industry analysts are not convinced for market for such innovation.

According to Martin Garner, a TV tech consultant from CCS insight said “ The challenge for the firm is to demonstrate that the world really need this”, but Samsung claim that this new design will deliver “most immersive viewing experience” , though the company has neither projected price nor release date for the user-bendable TVs.
